Why we exist as a local church (our local vision)

We will be a church that speaks the truth of Jesus to a city that is in deep need of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will be worshipful disciples who will influence others to follow Christ.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14

What we do (our local mission)

We want to create an uncommon culture of discipleship in the church world. This culture is defined by a lifestyle of self denial, cross carrying, and unwavering obedience to Christ, and will result in an overflow of love for the lost.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

Church-wide goals for the year 2023

Build successful discipleship groups (with 80% involvement)
Stronger relationships among different groups
Build the youth into a more competent and Christ-loving group
Come up with 50% of needed funds to start the larger church

We are all about discipleship. “Discipleship is learning to be like Jesus in every part of life while joyfully worshipping Him.” This is our local church definition of discipleship. Every person has an opportunity to be part of a discipleship community.
